ANALISIS LEARNING OBSTACLES KEBERAGAMAN BUDAYA PADA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Social science is one of the disciplines studied in elementary school. Social studies learning in it has cultural diversity, namely traditional clothing, traditional houses, and tribes. Cultural diversity is studied in the first semester of grade IV of elementary school. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the learning obstacles experienced by grade V elementary school students in cultural diversity material. The purpose of the research is to analyze the learning obstacles experienced by grade V elementary school students on cultural diversity material. This research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis research. The research technique uses tests and interviews. The subjects of the study were grade V elementary school students and grade IV elementary school teachers. This research was carried out in one of the Padang City State Elementary Schools. The results of this study found learning obstacles in cultural diversity materials, including 1) learning obstacles related to students' ability to determine regional traditional clothing in Indonesia, 2) learning obstacles related to students' ability to determine traditional traditional houses, and 3) learning obstacles related to students' ability to determine regional tribes in Indonesia. In addition, it was also found that the cause of the learning obstacles was based on the results of interviews with fourth grade elementary school teachers regarding cultural diversity material, it was said that students easily forgot about cultural diversity material, namely the identity of each region in Indonesia. The results of this study are used as a preliminary study for further research.
