Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the obstacles to the implementation of thematic learning at SDN Awang Bangkal Timur. Thematic learning is a type of learning that can be provided to students in the form of meaningful experiences. This research method uses descriptive research methods that explain an event or event that occurs directly and in reality. In implementing thematic learning at SDN Awang Bangkal Timur, it is certainly not as smooth as expected, sometimes teachers are faced with various obstacles such as difficulties in integrating the content of various subjects into one theme and the lack of teacher knowledge. Thus, the implementation of thematic learning in this elementary school requires careful preparation and adequate facilities and infrastructure to support effective and enjoyable learning.
