Abstract

This study aims to identify science process skills in group B children in TKN Mataram Model. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were 25 children from group B. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is data calculation using percentages. Based on data analysis in the observing sub, it was obtained (72.30%) in the very good category, good category (7.70%), sufficient category (1.54%) and poor category (18.46%). The overall percentage results in the sub comparing of each category were obtained as much as (62%) in the very good category, (20%) in the good category, while the fair category was (2%) and the poor category was (16%). In the sub-classification, it was found that (54%) were in the very good category, (30%) in the good category, while in the fair category there were (0%) and in the poor category there were (16%). The overall percentage results for each category in the sub-measures were (46%) in the very good category, (28%) in the good category while in the fair category there were (10%) and in the poor category there were (16%). The overall percentage results in the communicating sub from each category were (49.33%) in the very good category, (21.33%) in the good category while in the fair category there were (13.33%) and the poor category as much as (16.01%) . The percentage obtained for each skill and the highest percentage was obtained in the very good category so it can be concluded that the science process skills of group B children at the Mataram Model Kindergarten were implemented well even though there were some children whose science process skills were still not implemented.
