PENERAPAN MEMBUAT SLIME UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of slime making activities that can improve fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years. The type of research is "Classroom Action Research" (CAR). The subjects used in this study were 7 children aged 4-5 years. The data collection method used observation and documentation, the data analysis method used qualitative descriptive. Based on the results that have been carried out, the application of making slime to improve fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years has increased. This is evidenced by the results of observations of the application of making slime cycle I at the first meeting, the number of scores obtained was 17 and the second meeting the number of scores obtained was 23 with an average score of 5 and had a final percentage result of 62.5%. Cycle II at the first meeting obtained a score of 29, at the second meeting the number of scores obtained was 32 with an average score of 7.62 and had a final percentage result of 95.3%. In the observation results, improving fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in cycle I, children who received MB = 4 children with a percentage of 57.14%, and children who received BSH = 3 children with a percentage of 42.85%. In cycle II, children who received BSB = 7 children with a percentage of 100%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the learning activity of applying making slime to improve fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years was said to have increased and had reached a success indicator of 80%.
