PENGARUH MEDIA BERBASIS VIDEO INTERAKTIF TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 1 DOPANG

The ability to read comprehension is an important part of the learning process to be able to receive and relate the context in learning that is done either verbally or in writing, while this study aims to determine the effect of interactive video-based media on reading comprehension skills in the implementation of learning in students. It is a quantitative research with the research method of Quasi Experimentals Design, with the design type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was all class V students totalling 30 people, and the sample was determined through probability sampling technique, with the population in this study being all class V students, consisting of 2 classes, including class Va 15 students and class Vb 15 students. Data collection using interactive learning video media observation and tests in the form of pre-test and posttest, the collected data were analysed using the prerequisite analysis test with the SPSS version 26 application. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class pretest stage was 51.27. While the average value of the control class pretest was 49.07. Then the average value generated at the posttest stage of the experimental class was 88.60. While the average value of the control class posttest was 79.80. It can be concluded that there is an effect of interactive video-based media on reading comprehension skills in grade V students.Downloads
