Abstract

The background of this research is how the implementation of the Merdeka learning curriculum is applied to students in grades I and IV at SD Negeri Ketangga, what are the problems faced by teachers and how to overcome them. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, and data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of data analysis are obtained; 1) the implementation of the Independent Learning curriculum for grades I and IV students has been going quite well, 2) the teacher's problems in implementing the Merdeka Learning curriculum lie in planning the implementation of learning, implementing learning, and evaluating learning, 3) The teacher's efforts to find out these problems are by doing regular meetings with the teacher working group (KKG) and attending training on the implementation of the Merdeka to learn curriculum.
