Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills in learning science and science in the independent curriculum for class V at SDN Cluster VI, Janapria District. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, Quasi Experimental Design, Nonequivalent Control Group Design, using assessment instruments, observation sheets, and tests. Based on the research results, the asymptote value was obtained. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001 < 0.05, then  is rejected and  accepted, and the effect size test obtained is 0.7 in the large category, so it can be concluded that there is a significant big influence from the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills in science learning. independent curriculum for class V at SDN Gugus VI, Janapria District.
