Abstract

Learning media is very important for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Choosing the right learning environment has a significant impact on students' learning motivation and critical thinking. The purpose of this study is to describe or describe the role of YouTube as a learning tool. YouTube can increase students' motivation to learn and use YouTube as a way to encourage students to think critically. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in the form of assessment and observation. The aims of this research are to find out what motivates students to learn how to use the YouTube learning environment and to describe YouTube's innovation as a learning tool that enhances children's critical thinking. The results of research conducted on grade 4 students at SDI Al-Munawwaroh show that YouTube can help children think critically.
