Abstract

Learning Mathematics in Grade 3 of SDN 1 Bendoroto, Trenggalek Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year is experiencing learning difficulties and low math achievement results in fractions. The researcher tried to improve the mathematics learning achievement of 3rd grade students with a class action research. PTK was carried out in 2 cycles, using a qualitative method with descriptive methods to describe the results. Using 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Problem-Based Learning Models and concrete media in learning. Initial data of students' interest in learning mathematics from 13 students, 11 did not like and 2 did like, the average mathematics achievement was 56.46%, the completeness level was 23.07%. Cycle I of student interest towards learning mathematics increased by 5 dislikes and 8 likes, the average learning outcome was 66.15%, the mastery level was 53.84%. Even though there was an increase but not in accordance with the expected KKM, a class action research was conducted in cycle II. It was found that the data increased by 1 dislike and 12 likes, the average learning outcome was 78.46%, the mastery level was 92.30%, there was a significant increase.
