Abstract

Cursive writing is the skill of writing by connecting letters without raising your hand. This research was motivated by learning Indonesian in class 2 of SDN Landungsari 1 which still had difficulty writing untidy cursive letters, lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences, and less curvy. The purpose of this study was to develop instructional media to improve cursive writing skills for grade 2 students. This study used a quantitative approach. The average student writing results still tend not to be neat. The development of the Continuous Board media uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model through 5 stages, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. Data collection methods used consisted of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This product has been validated by 93.75% media experts in the "Exact" category, 82.5% material experts in the "Exact" category. The conclusion of the development of cursive board media can improve the cursive writing skills of grade 2 students
