PENERAPAN MEDIA BUKU CERITA BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA KELAS 2 SDN TUNGGULWULUNG 3, KOTA MALANG

This study aims to explain the process of implementing learning using Picture Story Book media and improving reading comprehension skills using Picture Story Book media in grade II of SDN Tunggulwulung 3 Malang City. The research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was conducted on the second grade students of SDN Tunggulwulung 3, Malang City. Namely 16 male students and 10 female students with a total of 26 students. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study showed that the use of picture storybook media can improve students' reading comprehension, as evidenced by test questions in Indonesian subjects. In the process of learning Indonesian before implementing the media of picture storybooks, the percentage is still low, namely 20%. Meanwhile, SDN Tunggulwulung 3 has experienced a significant increase in Class II after the implementation of picture book media. In the first cycle, the percentage of students was 51%, while in the second cycle, student learning outcomes increased again by 83% of students who completed as many as 20 out of 26 students in Class II of SDN Tunggulwulung 3. Thus, in cycle II, students' reading comprehension is considered successful when they reach KKM 70.Downloads
