PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI ENERGI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

  This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students at Jongbiru State Elementary School, Kediri Regency, especially in the science subject (IPAS) on energy. The purpose of this research is to make improvements in learning to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis and MC Taggart models, with the steps of planning, implementing action and observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques. The non-test instrument is an observation sheet to measure the level of student creativity. Based on the research results, there were 3 stages in the research that produced 3 results, namely the pre-cycle stage (9.5%), cycle 1 stage (100%), cycle 2 (100%) the percentage of students who exceeded the KKM score (> 75). Judging from the average value, it can be seen the difference between the three stages of the study, namely the pre-cycle stage (74.5), cycle 1 (79) and cycle 2 (96). From the results of this study it was concluded that the application of project based learning learning models can improve learning outcomes in natural science subjects on energy.
