Abstract

The purpose of this study is to instill a literacy spirit in students using audio-visual media at SDN Kraton. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive statistical methods with SPSS. The population in this study were 5th grade students at SDN Kraton with a total of 29 students, because all populations were sampled, the saturated sampling technique was used. Data analysis used is descriptive statistics, normality test, hypothesis testing (paired t-test), simple linear regression analysis test. The results of this study show that the results of learning Indonesian in grade 5 at SDN Kraton have different scores on the pretest and posttest, where the average pretest score is 51.55 while the average posttest score is 88.45. other than that in testing the hypothesis there is a value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is an average difference between the learning outcomes of the pre-test and post-test, so that there is an effect of using audio-visual media on learning outcomes. Furthermore, in testing the simple linear regression analysis, the value of Sig. audio-visual media of 0.004 <0.05, meaning that there is an influence of audio-visual media on learning outcomes in grade 5 SDN Kraton.
