TANTANGAN PROFESIONALISME GURU: INTEGRASI PEMBELAJARAN PADA KURIKULUM MERDEKA DENGAN PENDIDIKAN DI ABAD 21

The rapid development of technology in the 21st century has created many challenges for educators in improving the quality of education, especially in the learning process. However, with the addition of the implementation of the new curriculum, there are many demands for teachers to be able to integrate the Merdeka curriculum with 21st-century education. This study aims to analyze the challenges of teacher professionalism in integrating learning in the Merdeka curriculum with 21st-century education. This research method uses library research by collecting data through books, journal articles, proceedings, and research reports as listed in the bibliography which will be analyzed to draw conclusions. The results of this study show that in the 21st century, teachers are required to be faced with challenges to integrating technology effectively in learning, are required to be innovative in designing learning that makes maximum use of technology, teachers must be able to manage and assess information efficiently, and have a commitment to education and learner development. The skills that students must have in the 21st century consist of life and career skills, learning and innovation skills, and information media and technology skills. So that teachers are expected to be facilitators, innovators, and educators, and can improve the quality of education that is relevant to the times. Finally, learning media that teachers can use in learning the Merdeka curriculum in accordance with the development of the 21st century can be audio, visual, audiovisual, and kinesthetic such as videos, PPT, game platforms, canvas, or realistic media and so on by utilizing technologies such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data.Downloads
