Abstract

This development research aims to produce electronic teaching materials (E-modules) based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on science learning on the topic of herbal plant conservation as an interactive and independent supplementary teaching material for elementary school students. This development procedure uses DBR adopted from the Reeves Model, involving research subjects as many as 20 grade IV students in one of the public elementary schools of Tasikmalaya Regency. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, documentation and questionnaires. The feasibility of this ESD-based interactive e-module has been validated by material experts and media experts and has been tested on students through a four-category scale assessment. The results showed the feasibility of e-modules from the results of expert validation, namely, (1) Material expert validation obtained a presentation score of 99.10%, (2) Validation of learning media experts of 95.61% with a very feasible category. As well as obtaining e-module feasibility results based on student responses of 82.55% with categories suitable for use. Thus, ESD-based interactive e-modules are feasible to be used as a learning supplement for learners.
