Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and attractiveness of PJBL-based scrapbook media on Indonesian cultural richness material. As well as to find out the increase in critical thinking skills of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Tumpang through the development of PJBL-based scrapbook media on material rich in Indonesian culture. This study uses a Research and Development (RnD) type approach. The stages for carrying out this research are contained in the ADDIE model. The research subjects were test subjects that would be carried out by 21 grade IV students at SDN Tumpang 02, Blitar Regency, in 2022/2023. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The results of this study obtained validation results from media experts of 89.23% with the criteria of "very valid". The validation results from material experts were 90.76% with the "very valid" criteria. The validation results from linguists were 92% with the criteria of "very valid". As for the results of the attractiveness of the media, the percentage of student responses scored 93.33% with the criteria "very interesting and can be used without revision" the teacher's response got a percentage of 100% with the criteria "very interesting and can be used without revision". Improving the critical thinking skills of grade IV students at SDN Tumpang 02 Blitar Regency obtained the pretest and posttest assessments, namely in the medium category in students' critical thinking abilities.
