Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the increase in learning outcomes of Class IV students in social studies at UPT SD Negeri Plosorejo 02 through the Problem Based Learning model. This research method uses PTK (Classroom Action Research). The target of this research was the fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri Plosorejo 02, which consisted of 13 students in one class. The data collection technique used a test that went through evaluation questions given at the end of the lesson and made observations and documented them. The results of the study show that student learning outcomes have increased, this can be seen from the pre-cycle of 54% then there is an increase in cycle II to 77%, and then an increase in cycle III to 100%. From this it can be concluded that the application of the Model Based Learning learning model for IPS learning with Student Needs material can improve student learning outcomes for class IV UPT SD Negeri Plosorejo 02
