Abstract

Abstrac The research was conducted due to the problem of low learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bodag in the subject of science, specifically on the topic of the water cycle. This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes on the topic of the simple water cycle in science by using teaching aids at SD Negeri 1 Bodag. The research used a classroom action research method consisting of two cycles. The research subjects were 11 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bodag, comprising of 8 male students and 3 female students. The data collection techniques used were learning outcome tests, teacher and student observations. The pre-cycle learning outcomes showed that only 18% or 2 students managed to achieve learning completeness. In cycle 1, the learning completeness of students reached 64% or 7 students had completed the material well. In cycle 2, the learning completeness of students reached 91% or 10 students. These results prove that simple teaching aids can improve student learning outcomes on the water cycle topic in fourth grade science at SD Negeri 1 Bodag.
