Abstract

Education is an important part that cannot be separated from human life, especially in today's era marked by rapid information. In this case, education not only functions as a means of knowledge, but also to develop students' skills and creativity so that the quality of student learning will be more effective and efficient. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, collecting and analyzing literature related to innovative strategies in teaching Christian religious education. The results of the study indicate that Christian religious education has an important role in shaping students' character. Project-based, cooperative, and inquiry-based learning models have proven effective in increasing student engagement and understanding of the material. In addition, the application of technology in learning also has a positive impact, although it requires wise regulation to avoid concentration disorders. The conclusion of this study confirms that innovation in teaching Christian religious education is very important to improve the quality of education and the relevance of teaching materials during the changing times. Therefore, teachers need to continue to develop innovative and adaptive teaching strategies to meet the needs of students in this digital era.
