Abstract

A person can assess the truth of something (statement, idea, argument, research, etc.) by applying disciplined critical thinking methods. By developing critical thinking skills, children will be able to think for themselves and not be too dependent on other students. However, currently there are still many students who have difficulty thinking critically, so innovative approaches are needed in teaching children. A total of 29 students took part in this VI research project at UPT SDN 02 Tanjungsari. By creating show and tell card media, this research uses development which is also called research and development and the ADDIE model. The research results show that the product validation results from material experts and media experts are 92% and 90% very valid, respectively; media feasibility score of 84%, which means the media is suitable for testing; The pre-test score was 1826, and the post-test score was 2260, with an N-Gain gain of 0.915611. Based on the analysis findings, this figure is included in the "high" range. Therefore, it can be said that show and tell card media helps improve students' critical thinking skills.
