Abstract

Education is a process of educating a person or group by changing behavior or attitudes through learning and training processes. The aim of this research is first to determine the influence of the problem based learning model on student learning outcomes, and second, to determine the influence of independent character on independent character. The research instruments used in the research were test sheets on student learning outcomes and questionnaires on independent character. From the analysis results which were processed using SPSS 25.00 software, in the post-test the student learning outcomes in the hypothesis test used an independent t-test with a significance value of 0.000, which can be concluded that there is an influence on the problem based learning model on learning outcomes, due to the value of test is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Meanwhile, independent character was tested on the results of a questionnaire sheet or questionnaire using SPSS 25.00 using an independent t-test with a significance value of 0.603, which can be concluded that there is no influence of the problem based learning model on independent character, because the value of the test is more than 0, 05 (0.0603 > 0.05).
