Abstract

The research is aimed to find out there is whether or not the relation between interest in reading and mastery of vocabulary words are along with the capability to write the story of students grade VI Elementary school in the District Pamulang, South Tangerang City. This research uses quantitative methods to correlational studies. This study uses quantitative methods through correlational studies. This research sample are sixth graders at SDN Bambu Apus 02, SDN Pondok Cabe Udik 01, SDN Pamulang Timur 2, SDN Pamulang Barat and SDN Parakan. The results of this study are (1) The results of a simple correlation analysis show that the hypothesis which states “There is a significant (significant) positive relation between reading interest and the ability to write stories” in the sixth grade students of SDN Pamulang has been proven true. (2) The results of a simple correlation analysis show that the hypothesis states “there is a relationship positive which means the (significant) between mastery of vocabulary words with the ability to write stories ”on students grade VI Elementary School in the District Pamulang has been proven true (3) The results of the anlysis of the correlation double indicate that the hypothesis which states “ there is arelationship positive which means the (significant) between yhe interest of reading and mastery of vocabulary words are long with the capability to write stories” on students grade VI Elementary School in the District Pamulang has proven its truth.
