IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM MENTALLY GUIDANCE DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DISIPLIN ANAK DI PUSAT PELAYANAN SOSIAL ASUHAN ANAK GENERASI HARAPAN NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Abstract

Spiritual mental guidance is a means of instilling religious values in the process of forming the morals or character of foster vhildren with the aim of spiritual mental guidance being to shape the child’s personality into a child who id disciplined, of good physical and spiritual quality. The research aims to determine the implementation of the mental spiritual guidance program in forming disciplined character in the social service center for child care for the generation of hope in West Nusa Tenggara. The method used in the research is qualitative with a case study type of research.the data collection techniques used are interview, observasion and documentation based on research results. This shows that the implementation of this mental spiritual guidance program is carried out using a religious approach, namely by providing religious guidance to incoming children in the from : 1) Guidance using habituation methods such as congregational prayer, Tadarus Al-Qur’an, and Yasinan. 2) Guidance in reading Al-Qur’an, 3) Study. 4) Translation of the Al-Qur’an tamyiz method. The supporting factors in implementing mental spiritual guidance are adequate facilities, the presence of caregivers, and support from the school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in implementing this mental spiritual guidance program are ;imited funds, social factors and lack of awareness among children.
