Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop Gayangtheman media in order to improve the storytelling skills of group B children at Ash-Shddiqi Fathurrahman PAUD. This type of research is development research carried out in 3 stages of development, namely development stages I, II, and III which consist of several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research consisted of 6 meetings in three stages of the development. The subjects of this study were 10 children in group B at Ash-Shddiqi Fathurrahman PAUD. The results showed that children's storytelling skills improved from stage to stage. At development stage I, the achievement of children's storytelling skills was in the category of starting to develop with an average percentage of 41.45%. Then it increased at development stage II to 54.87% and was categorized as developing as expected. Furthermore, it increased at development stage III by 77.25% and was categorized as developing well. So that this research is said to be successful. Thus it can be concluded that the development of Gayangtheman media can improve the storytelling skills of group B children at Ash-Shddiqi Fathurrahman PAUD in the 2023/2024 school year.
