Abstract

This research is quantitative research. Conducted by survey method with a causal analysis approach. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of rewarding on student creativity. This research data was obtained using a likert scale questionnaire for student rewarding variables and creativity. The validity of the instrument of rewarding and creativity of students is calculated using the formula of the Product Moment Person Correlation Coefficient and Reliability calculated using the Alpha Cronbach formula. The object of this study is the students of Sekolah Dasar Sukamantri 01 Desa Sukamantri , Kecamatan Tamansari, Kabupaten Bogor class IV consisting of two study groups with a total of 65 students and with sampling as many as 39 students using the formula Taro Yamane with a precision of 10%. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The results showed that the effect of rewarding on students' creativity was shown by statistical analysis that resulted in a path coefficient (Pxy) 24,27. This shows the influence of rewarding on student creativity, while the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.94 or 94%. The remaining 6% is determined by other factors. The average student creativity of 94% is determined by rewarding through the regression equation Ŷ = 47.04 +0.28X, that’s mean rewarding can increase student creativity by 0.28%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on rewarding the creativity of fourth grade students Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukamantri 01 Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.
