STUDI KASUS PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK PADA SISWA KELAS V SD

The habit of students not completing and making the best use of time can affect the student learning process to be not optimal, the behavior of delaying assignments and work in the academic field is called academic procrastination. The purpose of writing this article is to conduct a case study regarding the procrastination behavior of high school elementary school students, because at that age students are considered capable of self learning. The subject in this study was a student who led to academic procrastination behavior, then several informants consisting of from teachers, families and other students. The results showed that procrastination behavior traits appeared in the research subjects indicated by a percentage value of 80% and included in the high category. As for this study, it was found that internal factors that influence academic procrastination come from individual psychological conditions and individual self-regulation in learning, and external factors that influence these variables are parental support, number of assignments, environment, economic conditions, playing mobile phones, and othe activitiesDownloads
