Abstract

Everyone needs to adjust to both the environment and other people. Today, there are still many elementary school-aged children who still have difficulty adjusting to their school environment. There are several factors that affect adjustment in children, including: social, physical, emotional, and intellectual factors. This study aims to examine a case or problem regarding the adjustment of students with special needs (Subject X) in class V SD Negeri Bugel, Panjatan, Kulon Progo in more depth. This type of research is case study research with 2 teachers and 5 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The result from the research was concluded that Subject X has not been able to make adjustments properly.
