PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS ANDROID (PENTA) PADA MATERI SUHU DAN KALOR KELAS V DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This research and development was carried out because the learning media used had not utilized the available technology and still used conventional learning media so that it made students less interested which resulted in some students not having achieved the minimum completeness criteria. Therefore, researchers want to develop teaching materials that are interactive and android-based (PENTA) in class V temperature and heat material as a solution to overcome learning problems experienced by students at UPTD SDN Lajing 3. In this study, the Research and Development (R&D) method was used. developed by Sugiyono through modified stages according to the needs of researchers, namely: 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) trial use, 6) final product. In this study the method of collecting data by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this research and development are in the form of an application product called PENTA and tested to find out the feasibility of the application and obtain the following results: 1) material experts get a score of 53 with a percentage of 96%, 2) media experts get a score of 74 with a percentage of 87%, 3) linguists get a score of 31 with a percentage of 88%, 4) small-scale trials get a percentage of 70-80%, 5) large-scale trials get a percentage of 80-90%. Based on the results of the assessment of experts and respondents to the PENTA media, they received a good response with a very decent category.
