Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of the teams games tournament type cooperative learning model on cooperation and learning outcomes for class V students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan.  This research method uses quantitative research methods.  This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan.  The population in this study were all students in class V - C of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan, and the sample used was 22 students using a saturated sample.  This research uses instruments in the form of questions and questionnaires using a one group pretest posttest design.  The data analysis techniques used in this research are validity test, reliability test, normality test and paired sample t-test hypothesis test.  Based on the research results, it shows that there is an influence of the use of the teams games tournament type cooperative learning model on the cooperation and learning outcomes of class V students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan as seen based on pretest and posttest data. It is known that based on the output that has been tested, the research results show; 1) The Teams Games Tournament learning model has a significant effect on student cooperation with an increasing average score during the pretest of 29.91 and an average posttest score of 32.05.  The significant results from the Paired Sample T-Test test table obtained a value of 0.003 < 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.  2) The Teams Games Tournament learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes with an increasing average score during the pretest of 53.82 and an average posttest score of 77.00.  The significant results from the Paired Sample T-Test test table obtained a value of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.
