Abstract: This study aims to analyze the academic supervision strategies employed by the school principal to improve teacher instructional quality at SD Negeri Sidomulyo 03, Ungaran Timur. A qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach was utilized, gathering data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings reveal that the principal implements academic supervision strategies in three stages: planning, implementation, and follow-up. A collaborative approach involving individual and group techniques is used to develop supervision programs. Supporting factors include effective communication and a conducive school culture, while the primary obstacle is supervision schedules disrupted by sudden official duties. These strategies effectively enhance teacher competence and instructional quality. Keywords: Academic supervision, school principal, instructional qualityDownloads
