Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the types of Balinese wisdom that are inserted into science and technology learning in elementary schools. This type of research is a literature review. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results stated that the research results found that there were five article titles since the independence curriculum was launched in 2022-2024 which discussed the insertion of local Balinese wisdom in science and science subjects. The types of research found consisted of literature review, development and experimental research. The insertion of local Balinese wisdom that is often found is the insertion of local wisdom about the Subak and Tri Hita Karana water irrigation systems. The conclusion of this research is that in the 2022-2024 Merdeka curriculum, only five articles were found that discussed the insertion of local wisdom in the independent curriculum. This type of research consisted of literature review research, experiments and development of teaching materials. The only local Balinese wisdom that is incorporated is Tri Hita Karana and the Subak water system. Therefore, it is hoped that the government can provide training for elementary school teachers to be able to incorporate local Balinese wisdom in science learning in the form of implementation of behavior, teaching materials, media, or in learning tools.
