Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning activities during the study of the fourth-grade science subjects at SDN Pengkol 01. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning activities and student learning outcomes by implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model using puzzle learning media in the fourth-grade science subjects at SDN Pengkol 01. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles with 3 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 24 fourth grade students. Data collection techniques used observation sheets and tests. The results showed that the average percentage of student learning activity increased. In cycle I, student activity was 58% in the good category, then in cycle II it was 87% in the very good category. Improvements in learning outcomes were also seen from each cycle. In cycle I it was 46% in the good category; in cycle II it was 92% in the very good category.
