Problem Based Learning is a problem-based learning model in which the learning process uses real problems related to everyday life through the stages of the scientific method in problem solving so that it requires students to be active and develop students' skills in solving problems and thinking critically in digging up information. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of the steps of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by educational snakes and ladders game learning media in improving IPAS learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK), which was carried out in two cycles. This research was conducted at SDN Pengkol 01, with the research subjects being grade IV students totalling 24 students. Data collection techniques used test techniques, while data analysis techniques were descriptive, quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that by applying the steps of the problem-based learning model succeeded in improving student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in the average student learning outcomes from the pre-cycle condition showing 67.70 which is in the category below the KKM to 71.87 in cycle I. Cycle II showed that the average student learning outcomes were 80.62. The improvement that occurred in the learning outcomes of IPAS of fourth grade students of SDN Pengkol 01 after being given the action of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The contribution of this research provides evidence that PBL assisted by educational snakes and ladders game learning media can improve student learning outcomes.Downloads
