IMPLEMENTASI METODE SARISWARA DENGAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Sariswara is one of the learning methods that can be used as a trigger for students to be creative and active. Sariswara is a combination of three kinds of learning, songs, literature and stories. In IPAS learning, the sariswara method can be used as a learner's experience to familiarize themselves with practicing about beauty and subtlety by combining the experience of all the senses that exist both hearing, vision, physical and feelings. The Project Based Learning model can be used in learning IPAS with the Sariswara method because the model is expected that students have a new product to increase understanding in a material. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing the results of the analysis of research findings. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the sariswara method using the Project-based Learning model can increase students' creativity and understanding in IPAS learning. Evidenced by the data after the innovation of zero students have not developed, 8 students began to develop, 14 students developed as expected, 6 students developed very well. The conclusion is that the innovation of the sariswara method through the Project Based Learning model is very influential in improving the learning of Natural and Social Sciences in grade IV elementary schools.
