Abstract

Comic media is one form of learning resource that can be used by teachers to convey information to students. This research aims to develop products in the form of comic media based on Sasak local wisdom and find out the validity and practicality of comic media based on Sasak local wisdom on Social Science material. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The place where this research was conducted was at SDN 3 Sukadana. The subjects of this study were 21 students. While the object of this research is comic media based on Sasak local wisdom on class IV social studies material. The research instruments used were media and material expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses a Likert scale with an assessment score of 1 to 5 which includes data analysis of validity and practicality. The results of this study show very valid and very practical results to be used in learning. This is based on the validation results of media experts by 92%, material experts by 96%, student responses in small groups by 94%, student responses in large groups by 88%, and teacher responses by 92%. Therefore, it can be concluded based on the results of research that Sasak local wisdom-based comic media can already be used in learning in terms of validity and practicality.
