PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA NYARING SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 2 PRAYA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model on the reading aloud skills of class III students at Elementary School of 2 Praya. This type of research is experimental research, Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were third grade students at Elementary School of 2 Praya. Sampling was taken using the Census/Total Sampling technique. The data collection method is observation and performance. Observation is used to obtain data and the implementation of learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model, while performance is used to obtain data relating to students' reading aloud skills. Hypothesis testing in this research uses the Independent Sample T-Test with the condition that if the significance value or sig (2-tailed) ≤ 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, a significance value or Sig (2-tailed) of 0.041 was obtained, which means it is smaller than 0.05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the reading aloud skills of third grade students at Elementary School of 2 Praya.
