Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the character education of the Pancasila Profile contained in the Indonesian Language textbook for Grade 4 SD Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data in the form of sentences containing the cultivation of Pancasila Profile character education contained in Indonesian language textbooks. The results showed that this textbook has included activities that are the implementation of the six dimensions of the Pancasila Profile. In all chapters, the writer founds the implementation of the Pancasila Profile dimension of Belief, Devotion to God Almighty and Noble Character, Gotong Royong dimension, Mandiri dimension, and Critical Reasoning dimension, while the Global Diversity dimension does not appear much in this textbook. The writer only founds this dimension in Chapter 4.
