Abstract

The Experiential Learning model was chosen because this model provides students with the opportunity to develop their abilities based on the experience they have had. Through this model, students not only gain knowledge about concepts, but students also gain real experience that will grow skills through real assignments. Thus, students' writing skills are expected to improve. In implementing the experience-based learning model (experiential learning) using image media, assessments are taken individually. The data used is qualitative in the form of observations and interviews regarding the implementation of learning in the classroom by applying the Experiential Learning model carried out by the teacher. The data collection techniques used in this research are test techniques and non-test techniques in the form of observation and interviews. Data collection tools include test sheets, observation sheets and interview guides.
