Abstract

This research was carried out against the background of the low learning outcomes experienced by fourth grade students at Sompokan State Elementary School in primary school social studies learning with Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya material. These problems occur due to lack of understanding and lack of focus by students in participating in learning. This research aims to determine the influence of the Culturally Screamble-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on social studies learning, Indonesiaku Rich in Culture material. The research was carried out using a quasi-experimental method. The data obtained were analyzed using the normality test and the paired sample t test. The results of data analysis obtained using the normality test show that the pretest and posttest data are normally distributed. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a significant value of 0.000, so this value shows that there is a significant difference between students' learning outcomes in social studies lessons before and after using the screamble-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. These results indicate that the screamble-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model that has been used has an effect on student learning outcomes in elementary social studies learning.
