Abstract

Ethics education at the elementary school level plays a crucial role in shaping the character of children as ethical members of society. This scientific article aims to conduct an in-depth literature review related to the implementation of ethics education at the elementary school based on a philosophical perspective. Through literary analysis, we explore the philosophical foundation of ethics education, its underlying principles, as well as the challenges and opportunities in its application at this level. The philosophical approach in ethics education provides a solid conceptual foundation, emphasizing the understanding of values, civic ethics, and the individual moral development. The literature review encompasses a philosophical understanding of the essence of ethics education, detailing concepts such as freedom, responsibility, and morality that guide the formation of children's characters.
