This research aims to apply the Giving question and getting answer model with the help of YouTube media to improve students' asking and answering abilities in the Sociology subject class XI IPS 5 SMAN 9 Mataram. This research uses classroom action research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The stages in this research carried out initial observation, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this classroom action research were students of class XI IPS 5 at SMAN 9 Mataram and the sociology teacher of class XI IPS 5 as informants. The results of the first cycle of research showed that students' questioning ability reached 63.5% and students' answering ability reached 58%, then in cycle II it showed that students' questioning ability reached 88% and students' answering ability reached 85%.Downloads
