This study aims to analyze and describe the improvement of critical reading skills. There are activities through picture storytelling books, the role of an educator in building student character so that they like to read critically more optimally in classroom learning activities. This type of research is development. The conclusion of this study is that picture story books are suitable to be used to improve students' reading skills. The suggestion from this study is that hopefully this research can be a reference for further research and the results of this research can be recommended for implementation.Downloads
