Abstract

The campus teaching or teaching assistance program is one of the MBKM programs which aims to assist schools in improving literacy, numeracy, technology adaptation and school administration. This research aims to determine 1) efforts to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills through the class 5 teaching campus program at SMPN 21 Mataram, 2) inhibiting and supporting factors for efforts to increase students' literacy and numeracy skills through the class 5 teaching campus program at SMP Negeri 21 Mataram. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were campus students teaching class 5. Meanwhile, the informants for this research were school principals, students and teachers. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman. The results of the research show that: efforts to increase student literacy and numeracy through campus teaching programs for class 5 include implementing programs in the form of library visits, Project Based Learning, socialization on juvenile delinquency, technology adaptation, motivational posters, holding Ramadhan echo competitions, and numeracy walls. The inhibiting and supporting factors in efforts to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills are students, parents and technological facilities, while the supporting factors are teachers.
