Abstract

The problems that cause character changes in adolescents are caused by many factors, especially in the community environment such as drinking, gambling and stealing. So that from these indicators can change the character. This study aims to analyze the Role of mosque youngsters Organizations in Developing Religious Character in Gegelang Village, West Lombok Regency. The research method used is a qualitative and descriptive method. The subjects of this study were mosque youngster leaders, secretaries, treasurers, religious leaders, and community leaders. Data collection tools using observation guidelines, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that mosque youth develop the religious character of youth through mosque youngsters activity programs. Regarding the activities carried out by mosque youngsters to. Regarding the activities carried out by mosque youth to develop religious character, namely recitation activities, yasinan, coaching, Islamic holiday celebrations such as parades, donations for orphans, celebrations for the Prophet's birthday competition, TPQ competitions, mutual cooperation, and social service in the community and mosque environment. Supporting factors include facilities and infrastructure, family support, and member awareness. The inhibiting factors are limited funds, and lack of participation.
