Abstrak

 This research aims to examine the influence of leadership on the performance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Directors, mediated by Affective Commitment and Policy Implementation. The study was conducted among advanced-category BUMDes directors in the Riau Province. The research method used was a survey, employing a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The research population and sample consisted of 253 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares). The research findings indicate that leadership has a significant positive influence on Affective Commitment and the Implementation of BUMDes Directors' Policies. Effective leadership will shape the affective commitment of the directors and encourage active participation in policy implementation and the achievement of BUMDes goals. Leadership has a significant influence on the performance of BUMDes directors, mediated by Affective Commitment and Policy Implementation. These findings highlight the importance of leadership in enhancing the performance of BUMDes directors through affective commitment and policy implementation. The implications of this research can be used as a guide for decision-making and policy improvement related to BUMDes, as well as contributing to the existing literature on the role of BUMDes in sustainable village development..
