Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a Learning Module for Social Studies class IV at SDN Jelupang 01 South Tangerang City. The research method used in this study uses research and development methods. This study uses a Dick & Carey development model. Based on the results of interviews at SDN Jelupang 01, the use of teaching materials used in schools is still limited. Where, students only use books, and usually use ICT or digital media in collaboration with quiziz learning media or picture media. No modules were developed, only power points or summaries. In addition, learning media only uses objects around it. The problem in the Social Sciences Teaching and Learning is only students who lack concentration in learning. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and observations. The data technique is done by using qualitative and quantitative data. Based on the validation of the media and material experts, the results obtained were detailed, namely: the media expert gave a score of "Strongly Agree" with a score of 4.25. While the material expert gave a score of "Strongly Agree" with a score of 4,31. In the group test the students obtained an average score of "Good. The developed learning module for IPS learning was declared feasible and could be used for the Social Studies learning process at SDN Jelupang 01, South Tangerang City.
