Abstract

The systems perspective in philosophy provides a theoretical basis for understanding the complexity of reality involving the interaction of various elements. This research starts from the idea that understanding systems requires an approach that includes aspects of ontology, epistemology and axiology, in order to explore the nature, methods and values ​​that underlie it. The aim of this research is to answer the question: How is the systems perspective understood from the perspective of ontology, epistemology and axiology, and how can these three dimensions be applied in real life contexts. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature analysis approach, which involves searching and synthesizing classical and contemporary philosophical sources. The research results show that ontologically, the system is a dynamic entity structured through inter-component relationships. Epistemologically, knowledge about systems is obtained through an interdisciplinary approach that is reflective and data-based. Axiologically, systems must be designed taking into account sustainability, justice and ethical impacts on humans and the environment. This research has a significant impact by offering a conceptual framework that can be applied in various fields, such as environmental management, technology and social governance. Thus, this study not only enriches philosophical insights about the system but also supports wiser and more responsible decision making.
