Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of bullying on the self-confidence of elementary school children, as well as the factors influencing their responses to bullying experiences. This research employs a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant research evidence on the topic. The method involves reviewing various sources, including scholarly articles, books, and research reports published in the last 10 years, accessed through electronic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest. The keywords used in the search include "bullying," "children's self-confidence," and "the impact of bullying on elementary school children." The findings of the study show that bullying, in its physical, verbal, and psychological forms, has a significant negative impact on children's self-confidence. However, some children are able to cope with these effects through appropriate emotional support from family, school, and peers. This research emphasizes the importance of appropriate interventions through bullying prevention programs and psychological support to create a safe environment that fosters the development of children's self-confidence.
