PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA DIORAMA BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV DI SDN SEDAYU KAPUBATEN KENDAL

Abstract

Learning media is really needed in the learning process. This research is to develop three-dimensional media, namely diorama media, which is integrated and suitable for use in the Independent Curriculum era. This aims to ensure that there is a variety of media available at school. This research uses research and development. The research and development model steps use the steps or model developed by Borg and Gall, namely ten steps. The data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires to media experts and material experts, then distributing a needs questionnaire before the diorama media was available and a respondent questionnaire after the diorama media was available to students and teachers. Data analysis techniques based on media experts and material experts use a Likert scale. while the data analysis technique is based on teacher and student response questionnaires using the Guttman scale. The research results obtained an average percentage score of 90%, while the average percentage score of material experts was 87.5%. So the average value of the two validators was 89%, including the range of 80% - 100%, so it was categorized as "very good". The results of the student response questionnaire which have been calculated in the table above obtained an average percentage score of 96.5%, while the results of the teacher response questionnaire obtained an average percentage score of 92%. So the average value of the two respondents, namely 94%, is included in the vulnerable range of 80 - 100%, so it is categorized as "very good". Based on the results above, it can be stated that diorama media is worthy of being accepted at SDN Sedayu Kendal.
