PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA HERBARIUM PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the availability, steps and results of trials for developing herbarium media in Class IV science learning at SD Negeri 1 Karangmulyo. Based on the analysis of student needs carried out by researchers by interviewing class IV teachers, problems were found, namely lack of alternative learning media, never having practiced, only observing plants in the school environment. This development research is oriented towards product development using the ADDIE approach model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of this research are to facilitate the availability of herbarium media in Class IV science and science learning at SD Negeri 1 Karangmulyo on plant body parts and their functions. The analysis techniques used are descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The instruments used were media validation, material validation, teacher and student responses to the media, and teacher interviews. The validity test results for media validation obtained a result of 95.56% in the "valid" category, while the material validation results obtained a score of 97.14% in the "valid" category. The results of the feasibility test obtained from the teacher and student response questionnaire to the herbarium media received a score of 100% in the "feasible" category so that from this assessment it can be concluded that the herbarium media is very suitable for use for class IV science learning material on plant body parts and their functions.
